3D / Game Design

Ocean Render

Ocean simulation render created from scratch using Blender, as a quick experiment.

Laputa: Castle in the Sky

Recreated in Unreal Engine 5 — work in progress

Hayao Miyazaki's legendary floating island recreated in Unreal Engine 5. Modelling and rigging were done in Blender. Texturing was done using Substance Painter. Interaction logic and environment assembly were done in Unreal Engine.

Third-Person Game Concept

A third-person game concept developed using Unreal Engine 5. It implements enemy AI logic, custom character movement and interaction animations, as well as particle and sound effects.

VR Meditation App Concept

This meditation app concept was developed using Unreal Engine 5, targeted for VR. This experience incorporates AI meditation guides powered by the Gemini model. Players can interact with the AI guides either by speaking through a microphone or typing. Additionally, the concept uses custom floating-lantern Blueprints, which create realistic floating movement by controlling the physics of the lantern.

Driving Simulator in VR

In progress

Driving-simulator concept developed in Unreal Engine, using a custom vehicle rig and motion-controller logic.

Animation

Dominos Promo

For my Applied Animation module in second year I was tasked with creating a promo animation for a brand of my choice. I chose Dominos as I thought their use of shapes and colour in their logo works very well and would look great animated. I used Adobe After Effects to bring this logo to life.

I was also tasked with placing this video in a "real life" environment, using the tracking function in After Effects. I think it ended up looking very professional and I could imagine something like that being used by Dominos after some adjustments.

National Geographic

This animation was inspired by my love for nature documentaries. All of the assets were drawn on a graphic tablet and animated in After Effects. It was really fun to create those colourful sceneries and bring them to life. I also experimented with the shape of the National Geographic logo, sequencing and highlighting it with light reflections.

Info Graphics

For my Portfolio Development module, I was tasked with creating a piece of time-based media to showcase my skills. I decided to create a 2D keyframe animation in After Effects. My main inspiration was the Infographics Show on YouTube — their animation style was very similar to what I wanted to create.

Lip Sync

I created this animation in my first year of college using Adobe Animate's lip sync feature.

Coding / Web Design

Weather Web App

This weather app was designed as part of a group project, where I was responsible for the final implementation using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The website uses a one-page layout with all information being easy to access — weather data is pulled from an API and the radar map is embedded.

Maths Minigame

This minigame was created using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The main objective is to get the maths question correct and earn a point — earn 3 points and you win. Answer incorrectly and the score goes down by 1.

Maze Minigame

The main objective of this educational minigame is to navigate the boat through a maze of sharks. The player has two difficulty options — Night and Day — with Night being the harder one as it covers the maze. If the player hits a shark, a point is deducted and a multiple-choice question pops up to respawn.

CSS Animation

This animation was created using various CSS animation techniques.

E-Scooter Retailer

This page was created for a fictional e-scooter retailer to help promote their products. The styling was achieved through various CSS animation techniques.

UX / UI Design

Productivity App

As part of a group, I helped develop wireframes in Figma for a productivity app aimed at assisting college students in maintaining focus during study sessions and minimising distractions from their smartphones. Our approach was rooted in comprehensive research, including three interviews and a survey, which guided the design and implementation of key features tailored to the needs of our target users. Personally, I was responsible for designing the home page and the custom backgrounds, while also assisting my group mates in designing the other pages.
